Note is a Melbourne-based floral studio that approaches floristry as an exploration of connection—between people, places, and the passing of time. The brand’s name reflects both the rhythm and presence found in cadence, prose, scent, and sound—each a sensory conduit for emotion and memory. Within these arrangements, fleeting moments become tangible and felt.

This philosophy extends into Note’s visual identity, which treats design as an echo of experience. Staggered photography images are used to convey rhythm—not as repetition, but as feeling. Like a breath between sentences or the pause before a memory resurfaces, these visual interruptions lend pacing and weight. Citation-style numbering is also introduced as a nod to the brand name, acting as markers of emotional significance—quiet footnotes in a larger, unfolding story.

Tactility plays an equally important role. Vellum—a material traditionally used for overlay or archival notation—features prominently across Note’s printed matter, packaging, and unboxing experience. It softens and diffuses what sits beneath, inviting a slower reveal and a heightened sense of presence.

In this way, Note becomes more than a floral studio—it is a quiet practice of attunement. Through sight, scent, and story, the brand invites its audience to feel more deeply, and to honour the resonance of even the most ephemeral of moments.
